Children between four and ten are given a
program that begins with a music appreciation
approach. Once your child is comfortable, I bring
technique into the songs we'll be doing.
The songs are traditional kids' songs, old folk
songs, and some are just exercises in rhythm and
tone.
Older children and teenagers work on songs
that are currently popular.
Childrens' Musical Activities:
- Rhyming activities
- Note matching
- Rhythm exercises
- Tonal exercises
- Storytelling using rhyming and song
- Role play/stage acting games
- Singing songs to the piano or guitar
- Using age appropriate karaoke
Children singing together can
be helpful for performing in
front of an audience.
It's never too early to develop
a stage presence.
Music Education
Early childhood is a great time to start developing
confidence and performing in front of an audience.
